The 2024 Sustainability Report of Xianhe Corporation is the fourth consecutive sustain-ability report released by Xianhe Corporation, and also the sixth non-?nancial informa-tion report of the company. It aims to systematically describe the principles andconcepts, management methods, and performance achievements of the company insustainable development.

Overview

The scope of this report is consistent with the company's annual report, covering XianheCo., Ltd. and its subsidiaries within the scope of consolidation. This report is an annualreport, covering the period from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. Some of thecontent exceeds the scope mentioned above and will be explained in the relevantsections.

2024 is an important year for Xianhe Group to continue deepening green development, optimizing industrial layout, andpromoting high-quality growth. This year, we witnessed the of?cial launch of the "Forest Pulp Paper Integration" project inLaibin, Guangxi and Shishou, Hubei, marking a solid step for the company in independent supply. Xianhe Group adheres to the circular economy concept of "zerowaste, low energy consumption, and responsibility", and relies on its bases in Guangxi and Hubei to build a green manu-facturing system that integrates "forestry cultivation, pulp and paper production, and waste resource utilization".Xianhe Group, based on a deep awareness of sustainable development, introduced the practical experience accumulatedby the Quzhou headquarters for many years in the early stage of project planning. By optimizing the energy structure andbuilding a waste recycling system, it achieved the ef?cient implementation of circular economy in the new productionbase. NEW STRATEGY FOR SUPPLY CHAIN SECURITYIn recent years, extreme weather and geopolitical con?icts have occurred frequently, leading to intensi?ed price ?uctua-tions in the global wood pulp market and increased uncertainty in the international supply chain. Domestic paper compa-nies are generally facing challenges such as dependence on imported raw materials, cost ?uctuations, and fragile supply.Based on the strategy of "strengthening the chain, supplementing the chain, and stabilizing the chain", Xianhe Group hasbuilt an independent, controllable, ef?cient, and stable raw material supply system through the full industry chain layoutof its bases in Guangxi and Hubei, creating a supply chain security paradigm for the paper industry.

Burning wood chip waste and introducing black liquor incineration power generation technology canachieve partial self-suf?ciency in energy sources such as steam and electricity, effectively reducingcarbon emissions and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.The sludge after sewage sedimentation is used for forest fertilization, and white mud is used ascement raw material to build a zero waste production system and reduce solid waste emissions.

The Xianhe Guangxi Base is located in the largest eucalyptus planting area in China, while the Hubei Base relies on poplarand reed resources in the Yangtze River Basin. Through a diversi?ed supply system of "independent forest land+contract-ed forest land+national storage forest cooperation", it ensures stable supply of raw materials, achieves sustainable woodsupply, effectively avoids the impact of market price ?uctuations, reduces dependence on imported wood pulp, andachieves the strategic goal of localizing the supply chain.
