Mr. Hao Zhongli, founder of China Pet Foods,transitioned from the foreign trade food sector toenter the pet food indust. He leased a facilityto produce premium chicken jerky treats for pets,and successfully expoed the products to Japan,making the Company the pioneer in the China’spet food indust.

1999

e Company began sellingchicken jerky products under itsproprieta brand WANPY?,establishing WANPY? as the go-to brand for chicken jerky in China.

With expanding sales, China PetFoods invested in a new facility(rst facility) in the LaishanEconomic Development Zone,Yantai. ·e Company commenced construction of a newwet food facility - an IPO-funded project with atotal investment of RMB 400 million. Occupying 70mu of land and encompassing a total constructionarea of 45,000 square meters, the plant wasdesigned with an annual production capacity of50,000 tons, making it the largest pet wet foodfacility in the Asia-Pacic region. Operationsocially began in December 2020.·China Pet Foods invested in the constructionof a pet treat facility in Cambodia. With a totalconstruction area of 20,000 square meters anda designed production capacity of 6,000 tons, itbecame the largest pet treat facto in the count.e facility began operations in March 2020 andachieved protability within the same year.

With over two decades of experience in the pet food indust, China Pet Foodshas evolved into a multinational enterprise with a global perspective and strategicinternational footprint. Its manufacturing operations spans ve countries: China,the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Cambodia. Notably, the launch of itsU.S. facility marked the rst instance of a Chinese pet food company establishingproduction in a developed market.Amid rapid growth in the pet indust, China Pet Foods continues to invest inbuilding a leading global supply chain platform. With a long-term, integratedapproach to capacity planning, the Company is focused on building a defensibleglobal supply chain dened by product quality, operational stability, and resilience.It currently operates 22 modern pet food production bases worldwide, along withan expe-level R&D center and a dedicated pet nutrition and health institute.Of these 22 modern factories, 14 are located in China and 8 overseas.

Ingredients used in the Company’score products are sourced exclusively from suppliers registered with relevant Chinese government authorities, in accordance withocially requirements. ese suppliers must meet national standards for parameters such as microbiological levels, drug residues,and heavy metal content.To fuher ensure product integrity, the Company has implemented a Comprehensive Traceability System and a Product RecallMechanism. ese systems enable full tracking of each product, from the specic materials used, to the production process andshipping. e batch numbers of raw, auxilia and packaging materials, their suppliers, storage times, and usage of each materialcan all be tracked, as can the production time, key processing steps, responsible personnel, and shipment details. is end-to-endvisibility ensures strict oversight and helps guarantee the safety and reliability of eve product delivered to market.
