The Megmeet Changsha Intelligent Industry Center began planning and construction in 2016, with o?cial constructionstarting in 2021. After two years of design and engineering, it was completed and put into use in early 2024. The total areacovers 15,000 square meters, with a total building area of 75,000 square meters. It is equipped with the most comprehen-sive and advanced testing equipment in the global power electronics ?eld, including 48 laboratories and over 120 sets oflaboratory equipment, capable of accommodating more than 2,000 R&D engineers. It is considered a world-class testinglaboratory. The company implements strict control in the material and product inspection stages, using preventive testing to addresspotential product quality issues at each stage, ensuring product quality. For new or potential quality issues, the companyprioritizes preventive testing solutions such as mistake-proo?ng, error prevention, and equipment automation to improveproduct quality and production e?ciency. To ensure that product quality meets standards, the company has established a series of strict management documents, including the "Non-Conforming Product Control Procedure," "Corrective and Preventive Control Procedure," "Identi?cationand Traceability Control Procedure," "Monitoring and Measurement Device Control Procedure," "Incoming MaterialInspection Operating Speci?cations," "Process Inspection Operating Speci?cations," "Finished Product Inspection Operat-ing Speci?cations," and the "Product Type Testing Management Measures." These management procedures specify theinspection standards, processes, and responsibilities, ensuring e?ective quality control and testing at every productionstage, and timely management and disposal of non-conforming products. Speci?cally, this is divided into the followingthree major stages:
⑥ Product Testing Management: The company has established a testing center and set up product lifecycle testing laboratories
for EMC, reliability, lifespan, safety regulations, and failure analysis, comprehensively enhancing the safety and reliability of itsproducts.
Incoming Material Inspection
The company rigorously controls the inspection of incoming material quality, using the IQC (Incom-ing Quality Control) capability matrix to analyze supplier material quality. Inspectors strictly followthe requirements outlined in the quality management system documents to ensure that the materialsused in production meet the required standards. Inspectors generally provide inspection resultswithin two working days, while in urgent cases, results must be provided within two hours. Weprioritize the quality of each batch of materials and ensure that every inspection is conductedstrictly according to the speci?ed procedures to guarantee product quality and reliability.
Material Inspection and Sampling
First-piece inspection is a crucial part of the company's quality control process. The company'sinspection department performs ?rst-piece inspections according to the SOP for ?rst-pieceinspection. If the ?rst-piece inspection results meet the company's product technical speci?cations, quality standards, and other relevant requirements, only then can mass production proceed. Thecompany has clari?ed the responsibilities and authorities for line inspection and standardized therelevant operational procedures. During process inspections, inspectors strictly follow the overallQCP (Quality Control Plan) engineering forms and SOP requirements. The inspection results aredetailed in the MES system's "IPQC Inspection Record" for timely tracking and analysis. In the eventof abnormalities, production personnel are immediately noti?ed for resolution. If the productiondepartment is unable to resolve the issue, the technical, quality, equipment, and other relevantdepartments must be contacted to discuss and implement a solution to eliminate the abnormality, restore normal production, and prevent recurrence. If necessary, the quality department may requestthe production department to halt the line to address the issue, ensuring product safety and quality.
Finished Product Inspection
Before products are stored in the warehouse, inspectors carry out sampling inspections based onthe "Finished Product Inspection Speci?cations," artwork ?les, and customer-approved samples toensure the quality of shipped products. The manufacturing center promptly sends each batch ofproducts that pass the production line inspection for further testing. FQC (Final Quality Control)inspectors conduct random sampling inspections on each batch of products. Only products thatpass the inspection are allowed to enter the warehouse.
On the PCBA board, a QR code is attached for e?ective traceability via MES. Comprehensive checks areperformed on the printing process to ensure the printing meets relevant technical requirements and standards.Next, the board components are inspected for missing, incorrect, or reversed components using pre-re?ow AOI(Automated Optical Inspection) equipment. FAI (First Article Inspection) equipment is used to calculate the quantityof various components based on the BOM (Bill of Materials) and record the ?rst-piece inspection results,e?ectively preventing errors, omissions, and reversals of components. The products are then subjected tohigh-quality soldering in a vacuum re?ow oven to reduce the rate of solder voids. Afterward, post-re?ow AOIequipment inspects the soldering quality on the pins to determine the yield rate. Finally, X-Ray inspection is usedto detect voids in the MOSFET solder joints.
